“After I graduated from university with a degree in literature I went to Sweden where I had the privilege of studying the Waldorf philosophy from the most amazing and special woman/teacher Juliane “Froken-Skicklig”. My dolls are inspired by Waldorf.
Their bodies are made of organic cotton and are stuffed with natural hygienic sheep wool. Their faces are embroidered, and their hair I knit from soft mohair wool. I collect vintage fabric, buttons and laces from all over the world to make their clothing. In Olie’s closet there are wonderful little clothes. Lovely dresses, buttoned shirts, cardigens, overols, soft pygamas and lots of other clothes and accssesories.
Little -giveaway Olie has blond hair- and dark grey eyes. She wares a puffed sleeved shirt made of vintage lace cloth, a grey skirt with white dots on it and a sleeveless purple cardigan. She has white nitted shoes with vintage buttons. Her clothes can be changed and her hair can be combed with a soft baby brush. Her height is 37 cm.”
