The very first week at my new job has passed. It has been a week with just enough new impressions, directions and speed. A good week.
So, what will I do at KHVC, Swedens largest crafts organisation? KHVC arranges workshops, seminars and other events for craft artists and the field of craft. It’s an awesome gathering of skillful artist-craftsmen. My roll in this context will be project management. A roll I’ve played before, but never in this scale. I’m looking forward to it.
Parallel with KHVC I will continue the freelancing life. And, to water the Fine Little Day garden of course. Look out for some news here soon as well. Wish you a great weekend everyone!

fan va kul elisabeth. så himla roligt att blanda upp sitt vanliga knegande ju. jag har också ett annat roligt jobb runt hörnet som jag inte bestämt mej om än. det innebär lite mer resa än du, som kan gå till ditt jobb men… det är så lockande att befnna sej i nåt nytt sammanhang med andra kreativa personer…? tvekade du?

emma,jo nog är det svårt att bestämma sig för att “binda sig” när man vanligtvis jobbar väldigt fritt. För min del har jag gått och funderat på det i ett par års tid, att försöka skaffa mig något mer regelbundet vid sidan av, men har lixom aldrig kommit till skott. Antagligen mest för att min egen verksamhet har snurrat på, och jag inte varit tvungen till det. Men så kom det här erbjudandet, serverat på ett vackert fat. Märkligt nog så fick jag ytterligare ett par jobberbjudanden i samma veva som var nog så fina, men som inte kändes riktigt som jag. Den här kontexten känns bra och rätt för mig, därför tackade jag ja.
Svårt med plus och minus, fråga mig igen efter ett par veckor ;) Förhoppningsvis väger plussidan över då med.
intressant. jo det slår en ju dagligen att man är så j*vla nöjd med det man har och gör. att ta ett mer bindande jobb skulle ju innebära att man gjorde avkall lite på sitt vanliga. men också utsatte sej själv för stor utvecklingsmöjlighet. jag ska stämma av igen. även om det förstås är svårt att jämföra. :)
