Wild chanterelles and autumn

Smell it, the Autum?
A little chilly in the house, but pleasant nonetheless.
More photos here and here.

Chanterelles just sautéd in butter. Or as sauce, to pasta.

Wild chanterelle mushrooms
Chopped shallots
Cream
Butter
Soy
Salt & black pepper

Saute chanterelles & onion with butter until cooked. When the liquid from the mushrooms has reduced (not entirely dry) add creme. Stir together and let it come to a boil.

Still Sunday.

Yes, autumn is beautiful, isn’t it? Tonight we had mushroom risotto with the chanterelles we picked yesterday (delicious!). I think we will try this recipe with the remaining mushrooms. Sounds wonderful!
