A few times I have been privileged enough to oppose on students’ work at HDK – School of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg/Sweden. The same school I studied design for 5 years. Last year I had the opportunity to meet talented illustrator Klara Persson who had made this children’s book, Molly & Sus as an degree project.

The other day I got a parcel in the mail. It was Klara‘s book. Printed! The book will be availble at Urax publishing house in September 2012.
It’s a story of two sisters who are stuck together through their braids. About awakening, and realization of independence.

Look at the tone in the images. The unsteady skewness and the color scale. Fabulous.

Oh how lovely! Such a gorgeous book and so lovely that she sent you a copy Elisabeth! :) Kx
