Do you remember “Makkara Piruetti”, one of our most beloved books in the book shelf, blogged here. The illustrator, Matti Pikkujämsä has such has such a good sense for details and whole. I called for his web page, I still don’t think he have one but I did get a message about his work for Kauniste. Handprinted textiles in Finland. I love the mushroom print. It reminds me so much of when I was a little girl and my father would take me mushroom picking. I think I can smell the earth.

Hi Elisabeth! Those towels are really nice. A couple days ago I also saw in finnish lifestyle magazine, that they have done also a calendar towel 2010, it was fine!

sometimes I'm a bit jealous – there is so much beautiful design in finland we don't find here in Switzerland.
