How I admire people who have beautiful handwriting. Like talanted illustrator Steffie Brocoli (have to tell you more about her soon). I’m leaving the studio for a couple of days. For a visit to one of my three sisters.

I’m taking this breath taking drawing with me. It’s a draft from the Childrens book me my friend and pattern master, Cecilia is making together. I’m writing, Cecilia is drawing (heavenly).

What a beautiful handwriting. It’s such a shame, but because of all the computer writing, my handwriting is going downhill. And I think this goes for many people.
My favourite subject when I was in “barneskolen”, was “skriftforming”, where we wrote little poems in a lined notebook, with help lines and all. Wonder if kids do this anymore? I think they should.
And that childrens book you are making is going to be a great one!
Besvärligt det där att vi skriver så lite för hand nuförtiden…gamla och urgamla brev som man hittar har ju underbara handstilar.
I follow your beautiful blog already for a while without commenting but now and immediately I must say, that I’m really, really looking forward to a children’s book made by you and Cecilia! :)
super nice link to Steffie Brocoli.
Have a nice trip.
Å så spennende med barnebok. Gleder meg til å se resultatet! God tur:)
I love everything about this post! I got lost in that drawing just looking at it. Beautiful! I also love that handwriting and blue chair! I admire handwriting as well…beautiful or messy, either way I find it all fascinating!
Looking forward to your book! Love the handwriting too. Handwriting seems to be lost these days. I love receiving something handwritten.
Have a lovely time with your sister!
love that print
teckningen matchar din vante:)
Gorgeous drawing- have fun in your travels!
<3
Oh, you and I are on the same wavelength sometimes Elisabeth :) I discovered Steffie’s work a couple of weeks ago and love her wooden church book.
The print looks beautiful. Have a good trip.
The hand writing is beautiful and the post is so original! The handwriting could actually go well with Beatrix Potter’s books!
Have a nice time with Your sister
That drawing is so gorgeous… looking forward to seeing the final result :)
Åh, är det du som är vännen som skrivit alltså? Vad roligt! Den kommer bli superfin den där boken.
Och tack för Brocoli-tips!
Wishing you a continued wonderful time on your travels, and looking forward to seeing a little more of your super project. Off to follow the links… bye.
